Head, Neck, and Thyroid Ablation Master Class

The Head, Neck, and Thyroid Master Class at the SIO 2025 Annual Scientific Meeting is a half-day didactic and hands-on session focusing on the diagnosis, management and treatment of head, neck, and thyroid tumors. The course will guide participants through fundamental topics including relevant anatomy as well as current diagnostic and treatment guidelines. Hands-on sessions will supplement didactic lectures to highlight the different ablation modalities (RFA, MWA, Cryo, Laser) and present interventions in a step-by-step fashion. Experts in surgery will present on the appropriate surgical management of head, neck, and thyroid tumors, followed by presentations from interventional oncologists (IO) on the indications/role of locoregional treatments.
